This Just In - My Grades

Pheeew. I passed it all. And not just that, I more than passed it. So now I'm happy. And upset, aggrevated, angry, even. The latter is due to the devilish, petty, arrogant low-life of a Norwegian teacher of mine. Fine, my last Norwegian paper wasn't exactly worthy of publishing, but hey; You just don't tell your student his work's crap! The day the grades were announced, he came over to me and patted me on the back while laughing in my face, "YOU of all people should probably not appeal that grade of yours. I've read the exam, and that was a totally fair grade". (Appeal? What? Don't worry - Norwegian students have the option of appealing grades they feel aren't based on good enough grounds, or that are worse than they deserve, but have to prove this beyond a reasonable doubt. Ok. Explained.) Based on the grade I got, that man should probably go back to studying eskimos in Alaska, 'cause Norwegian just isn't his field of expertise. I'm not planning on appealing, though, seeing as I've had it with that man, that school and that whole elitist system. I'm outta here.

Tomorrow I'm going to Trondheim, which is where my dad lives, and tonight I'm going to the world premiere of the new movie called "War of the Worlds". It'll be fun!
I'll probably write something someday soon, but until that day I hope my co-writers could pitch in for a while. WHERE are you?? Okay, see ya later. Enjoy summer.

Dreaded Oral Exam Passed

Oh, goodness. Biology was the subject, genetics and enzymes the topics, and 48 hours the time to prepare. The result was a grade in the class of 5, which equals a low A in the US. The result of the exam itself was the same, which means my whole grade report depends on my written math exam, the one I've already had. If I've passed that one, all is ready for me to start college this fall.

Oh, make it so!
